Journeys of Delight (Turkish) and Tower (France)

Thankfully, the school did have my passport and a few minutes before I had to get the bus, I had my passport in hand.  Here are a few of my favorite pics from the trip. So many, so these are only a few.  Thanks for your prayers.  Enjoy!  Mel

Christmas break 07-08 001

If you don't know what this means, its STOP in Turkish!  Dur!

Christmas break 07-08 028   Kapadokia and a new picture to add to my Natural Frames Collection (aka amature photography by Mel)

Frescos carved in the cooled lava of Turkey still preserved and telling the story of our Savior!Christmas break 07-08 035

Christmas break 07-08 073   Montmartre or the Sacre' Coeur (You can't hear it but I'm typing this with a French accent...this is one of the only words I know how to pronounce, so don't be impressed)

Christmas break 07-08 212

Courtyard of the Muse'e du Louvres

Geometry, I'm loving it!  Oh, and a working fountain in Winter!

Christmas break 07-08 256

It's even bigger in real life than it looks here!  Eiffel Tower!

I love the "Dur"! Funny thing is that my family has been using that word for years...more as just something to say than accuatually thinking of it as languge.....accually I'm pretty sure for us it was just a random noise. lol The pictures are wonderful.

Hey girl, I'm starting to work out a plan of attack for my visit...what days are easier for you to try to get togther?

Thanks for the comment on my site. I finished reading the Kite Runner and it was so good. One of the best books I've read in a long time. It was so good and I keep talking about it. There is a movie of it out in america. I'm not sure if it is coming to Asia or not but be looking for it in case it does.

Looks like you had a great trip! Nice pictures. I hope you are doing well. Blessings...
